Brandon Cahela has written dozens of scripts for both the stage and screen. He grew up in Tampa, FL and his first play Excursions was published and performed in 2013 by Theatre Odyssey in Sarasota, FL. In September of 2013, Brandon moved to Los Angeles to attend UCLA‘s Professional Program in Screenwriting. His plays Shower and Earth Day premiered in 2016 at The Santa Monica Theatre. In 2017 his plays Lookout and Toxic also premiered at The Santa Monica Theatre. He has written for The Doll Web Series and is a writer on the scripted comedy podcasts Crypta! and Ghosters. In 2019 he co-wrote the screenplay for the crime thriller Hollywood. He’s currently producing the upcoming comedy series The Tonopah Five. In 2020 several of his monologues were performed virtually as a part of Theatre Is The Cure. In December of 2021, his short play Silver And Gold is slated to be performed by Kris P. Productions in Hong Kong.
